Recorded Took the Oath, Dead Barnes Battery Captured at Cumberland Gap, September 9, 1863 Received at Camp Douglas, Ill’s., September 26, 1863 Discharged June 16, 1865 DeTaum, Lafayette Wilbur----- private May 22, 1861. Discharged on account of disease of kidneys June 30, 1861. (Born in Columbia, S. C. in 1830.) 8th REGIMENT GEORGIA VOLUNTEER INFANTRY
